Layla sisca

President

Layla Sisca will graduate from Ridgefield High School in 2026. Her passion for reading led her to join Turning Pages, where she now serves as President. In this role, she organizes meetings, collaborates with organizations for events, and tracks book donations and their impact. Layla is also committed to rowing at Connecticut Boat Club, balancing her athletic and academic responsibilities. Additionally, she volunteers with the National Charity League, working with organizations like Meals on Wheels and Rock and Rescue. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and reading.

Leighton Busby

Vice President

Leighton Busby attends New Canaan High School and will be graduating in 2027. She first discovered her passion for educating younger children while working as a STEM assistant for Horizons at Norwalk Community College. This experience motivated her to join Turning Pages as the Vice President to continue to educate more students. Leighton brings her leadership experience from serving on the board of the National Charity League and volunteering with organizations like Filling in the Blanks, Person to Person, and Midnight Run. She is also a competitive varsity rower at Connecticut Boat Club.

Sienna Hoyos

Donations Coordinator

Sienna Hoyos, a Ridgefield High School student graduating in 2026, is enthusiastic about reading, which led her to take on the role of Donations Coordinator. Her love for books, combined with her strong organizational skills, helps her efficiently manage and sort the hundreds of donated books into age-appropriate reading levels and genres. Outside of her work with Turning Pages, Sienna is a dedicated rower with the Connecticut Boat Club and enjoys running and skiing. Her commitment to academics is reflected in her grades, and she’s excited to contribute to such a meaningful cause.

Kamryn Morganstern will graduate in 2026 from Newtown High School. She is dedicated to contributing to the Turning Pages program as a Fundraising Coordinator. Kam has always loved reading and often was called a bookworm growing up. She enjoys volunteering for Families United in Newtown, where she helps make a difference. In addition to being a strong student, Kam is also a committed rower, competing for the Connecticut Boat Club with plans to continue rowing in college. She also enjoys baking in her free time.

Reagan weneck

Public Relations Coordinator

Reagan Weneck will graduate from St. Luke's School in 2025. Her love of reading led to success in middle school spelling bees, earning her a State Championship. Her interest in books has inspired her to contribute to the Turning Pages community as a Public Relations Coordinator. She plans to organize book fairs and promote the organization in this role. A dedicated athlete, Reagan competes in rowing and skiing at the national level and will row for the University of Michigan in 2026. Outside of sports and academics, she enjoys playing the violin, traveling, running, and supporting her community.

Isobel McCoy

Events Coordinator

Isobel McCoy, will graduate from Brien McMahon High School in 2025. She is committed to making a difference as Events Coordinator for Turning Pages. Her experience as Vice President of the Circle of Friends Club, where she organizes events to raise money for kids with special needs, sparked her interest in taking on additional leadership roles. Turning Pages allows her to combine her organizational skills, planning abilities, and leadership qualities with her love for helping others. As captain of the Connecticut Boat Club, Iso is known for her responsibility and communication skills, and she's excited to continue rowing at the University of Michigan in 2026. Outside of rowing, she enjoys running and reading.
